This study takes up the major functions and the additional functions of assembly type products in the period of matured stage, proposes a method for logically calculating the estimated sales prices indispensable in setting up their standard prices, and clarifies its usefulness.It is considered in this study that standard prices are decided by adding strategic elements to the estimated prices, and proposes a new method for calculating these estimated prices logically and practically. The essential points are as follows.This study takes up potential customers as the object of study, have them evaluate the values of specific product functions within a monetary range, take them up in the form of the 3 statistics of the weighted average, mode, and median, calculate 3 types of representative values for the functional evaluation value by adding mathematical analyses to them, and proposes a method for calculating the estimated prices strategically based on the evaluated values of the individual functions by the potential customers by utilizing the characteristics of the representative values of these 3 function evaluations.
