After you master function analysis, FAST diagrams, and the VE process, the largest area of learningis coping with the “people side” of facilitating VE and VM. For most facilitators, this meansmaking a quick transition from the clarity of VE/VM to the mystery of human behavior, emotions,and motivation. The purpose of this paper is to define several simple ways to reduce the mystery ofinterpersonal and group dynamics by applying well-known formulas to accomplish three high-orderfunctions:1.
