Challenges of Professional Adaptation of University Graduates in Response to the Economics’ Digital Transformation

The multidimensional and multifaceted nature of the category of 'human capital' and its development from the standpoint of the digital transformation of society implies the integration of knowledge from various fields of science and indicates the need for an interdisciplinary approach. Under the influence of the digital environment, the classical approaches to labor resources, jobs and labor relations are being transformed, the needs and demand for employees' competencies are changing. New rules of business and organization work are being formed in almost all spheres of people's activity, including training, management and determination of the content of the work itself. This leads to the emergence of new jobs corresponding to the new realities of the digital economy and the release of the least competitive personnel, which carries significant risks for university graduates. These trends reflect the need to improve the mechanisms of adaptation of graduates in the labor market through the interaction of educational organizations and enterprises. The main provisions and conclusions discussed in the article may be of interest to representatives of authorities at various levels, the scientific and expert community, representatives of the industrial and economic complex, as well as to find wide application in research and teaching practice.
