The presentation will identify the future applications for RUAS and explain how Leonardo Helicopters has leveraged coreengineering competencies and experience to develop RUAS technologies and capabilities; and describe the SW-4"Solo" Optionally Piloted Helicopter (OPH) and its successful demonstration to the Royal Navy and Italian Army in 2015.The presentation will include identification of the current barriers to RUAS operations, promising areas for technologydevelopment and the key enablers required to facilitate military and commercial RUAS operations in the short to mediumtime-frame.
