摘要

A novel Michael addition of an acrylonitrile synthon to vinyl silanes has been developed to afford an adduct that can be deprotected to yield 3-cyano-3-butenyl silane monomers in very high yields. The products are both radiation and thermally interpolymerizeable with most common monomers and can find use as coupling agents, cure sites, and in siloxane-b-organic copolymers, etc.
