Rradiative decays of litgt- through- heavy mesons are investigated by using the effective covserved hadron current in the covariant oscillator quark model .rnTo get meaningful and quantitative results for EM processes, an expression for the covariant and conserved effective hadron current is indispensable. QCD has not yet reached at the stage of making definite numerical prediction for EM process of hadrons. Strictly speaking, non- and semi- relativistic quark model guided by QCD may be only applicable to static problems such as magnetic moments because the conservation of their EM currents is not guaranteed. One of the most important features of the covariant oscillator quark model (COQM) is to have covariant and conserved EM current described in terms of hadron variables although in pure confining force limit. Moreover the COQM can make numerical prediction for, in principle, any hadron reactions with only a few free prameters.
