摘要

Stereolighography(SL) is the most developing technology of rapid prototyping manufacturing based on free Form Manufacturing. In this paper, experiments were performed on investigating the properties of XB5149, XB5170 nd some other photoresins, using the Universal Laser Rapid Prototyping Testing Platform made by the center for Laser Rapid Forming, Tsinghua University, China. These properties include: (1) solidification properties, (2) mechanical properties, and (3) forming properties. It is noted that shrinkage accompanying the solidificatio and photolymerization processes of the liquid monomer, the prototype made by the SL process. SOme useful data have been obatinedthrough experiments and process modeling.
