Formation of phase vortices by means of holograms with asymmetric pattern

摘要

The paper presents an experimental study of the application of thin holograms with increased (due to the use of a triangular pattern profile) diffraction efficiency for the formation of light beams with non-zero orbital moments (phase vortices). It is shown that in this case efficiency can be increased substantially (in theory - up to 100%). Transformation is done without any distortion of the formed beam.
