摘要

Our paper focuses on the future use of OpenCourseWarernat KU Leuven, currently an educational project that aimsrnto outline the implementation of OpenCourseWare at thernKU Leuven, Belgium. KU Leuven is setting up an OpenrnCourse portfolio. To this end five courses, currentlyrntaught at university as regular courses, were chosen asrnpilots. They have been selected amongst more than 8000rnexisting Blackboard courses, each for their ownrncharacteristics when it comes to didactics, content, andrnespecially their target groups. They will be converted tornfully functional Open Courses. In our view, not only therncontent (presented to its users under the form ofrnweblectures, texts, auto corrective exercises, self tests,rnetc…) but also the learning process has to be representedrnin an open course. Therefore we developed Study Guidesrnaiming at educating students to become empowered,rnautonomous and self-regulated learners. The final goal ofrnour project is to embed OpenCourseWare structurally inrnKU Leuven.
