While researchers have said that trust is vital to customer-vendor relationships, they have said little regardingrndistrust, the flip side of trust. Further, although many researchers agree that distrust is separate from trust, theyrnhave not clearly defined and distinguished distrust from trust. We discuss the negative emotion-laden naturernof distrust and then define a model of distrust constructs.
