Industrial experience with the Ni/Co sulphide precipitation process

Original design parameters related to the Ni/Co sulphide precipitation process are presented and compared with results from the sulphide precipitation process in the plant. The paper focuses specifically on the predicted advantages and benefits of the sulphide seeding process and the changes introduced to the plant operation to compensate for not implementing the sulphide seeding process.
