According to the nowadays production conditions of JinLin province, the maize precision fertilizer expert system Based on Web was developed by utilizing the knowledge of agricultural production.The design of the system was made the best of the life-period method of the software engineering, designed phase, and the summary design project of the whole system was brought forward by using the configurable analyses method. During designing and realization of the system, the author collected some materials for the system and communicated with domain experts on the knowledge of maize fertilizer, and plotted the database stream char of the expert system, then created sub-function chart by using the analysis method of the database stream. To realize the functions of the maize precision fertilizer expert system, OO(object oriented)program design language tool like the Java, access2003, multimedia technology.etc were used in the system. Considering the characteristic of operational research, the author designed six function modules, which were not been isolated one another, but integrated to all modules. The system mainly included the recommend fertilizer, nutrition diagnosis, spatial inquire, system management and so on. Every function modules included some sub-function modules. the system was developed by making use of the recently spatial data in JiLin province. An opening database interface was established, the research mainly improved and strengthened on the methods of creating database. The old database is most static, and not to be easily renewed. If the users want to change some database files, the only way is that special programmer is found, and the idea can be true. In order to avoid meeting this kind of questions, the system was absorbed the opening data interface. It realized to integrate spatial information, intelligent decision and network browser in the system. The system not only resulted in spatial information opening and network resource be sharing, but also made users inquire the data what they want to and offered them a science, reasonable fertilizer plans. The maize expert system was based B/S. The system was helpful to increase yields, improved social and economic benefit.
