Ecological Restoration Technology of the Mining Area: a Case Study of Polymetallic Mining in Western Region of China

摘要

Ecological imbalance,land degradation,landscape destruction and reduction of biodiversity and other environmental issues which mining triggered have attracted more and more attention,while ecological restoration is effective in the mine development environment impact assessment.The basic soil physicochemical properties of mining area and environmental risks caused by mining were investigated in a polymetallic deposit.Land formation and soil renovation were carried out firstly.On the basis of the investigation of ecological status,we proposed that the process of ecological restoration measures combining with other advanced experience of ecological restoration.It can benefit the ecological recovery of this polymetallic deposit and provide a realistic basis and technical reference for ecological restoration of other mining area.
