Analysis and design of a material distribution center conveyor network through GPSS simulation

摘要

GPSS simulation was used to valuate the design of the proposed pallet handling conveyor system. The discrete conveyor system will be installed in a new warehouse to move material from dock to stock, manufacturing and shipping. This paper describes how simulation proved to be an invaluable tool in solving the complex problem of designing a feasible system and ensuring the efficiency of design.
