Seed and machinery chain support: flexiseeder multi-purpose frame

Modem plot and small-scale seeders must be able to mimic the attributes and agronomic requirements offered by larger scale farm drills,especially being able to operate in reduced tillage environments.Coulter and associated frame needs for both plot and farm scale seeders have changed over time to meet evolving end-user needs including reduced tillage.This paper introduces and briefly describes the development of a modem Flexiseeder dualpurpose frame assembly including coulters and folding cab.The modified system allows mounting on a wide range of seeding equipment (from plot to farm scale) from various manufacturers.The design and specification have been modelled and drafted in Solid WorksTM.Local manufacture is possible in developing and transitional economies without royalty payment and franchises are sought in developed economies.
