Taihu Basin is the most developed basin in China, so regionalrnprecipitation analysis, as the basic study for hydrodynamics, has beenrncarried out. And Based on regional L-moments approach, thernidentification of homogeneous regions will influence the accuracy ofrnprecipitation estimates, so in this study, intersite dependence, whichrnhelps to improve the homogeneity in regional analysis, is investigated.rnThree statistical correlation coefficients are applied to assess therncorrelation. Then sensitivity test is used to assess the influence degreernof site to its homogeneous region. After reforming regions, discordancyrnand heterogeneity are measured to check that if the sites andrnhomogeneous regions are appropriate for further regional analysis andrnwater resource management in Taihu Basin.
