摘要

The micro-display is becoming more and more popular in projective and direct display during the last decade. Especially, due to its small volume, high definition and high contrast, liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) is constantly being caught much attention. Nowadays, high definition LCoS devices have been widely used for rear projection and virtual displays. The advantage of VA (Vertically Aligned) mode with low manufacture cost is to achieve high contrast without a retarder. In this paper, we simulate several structures and material parameters in order to meet the demands of high contrast and fast response time for LCoS cell with field sequential driving.
