摘要

A new approach for computer-aided thermalrnanalysis of buildings is presented. It is based on anrnelectronic book "Building Thermal Analysis"rnwhich operates in a mathematical programmingrnenvironment (Mathcad). It consists of a set ofrnindependent files covering various topics ofrnbuilding thermal analysis linked together with arnhypertext system. Each file integrates "live"rnequations (the "program "), explanatory text andrnfigures, as we11 as graphs linked dynamically tornequations and data. Both equations and data can bernreadily changed and the results are instantlyrnupdated within the same document, thus providingrnunique educational and rescarch capabilities. Thernmain advantage over the use of "black box"rnbuilding the~ analysis software is that the userrnconsolidates in a single document the input data,rnthe output data, and the model, thus having therncapability to easily understand and change thernmodel as we11 as the data.
