The concept of Intelligent Simulation Environment

摘要

The aim of this paper is to describe the work- currently under way at CSTB in the frame of thernproject 'Intelligent Simulation Environments'. The paper presents the underlying concepts of thisrnproject and then discusses the main features qf an ISE (data sharing, coupling of simulationrntools, reasoning facilities, model documentation and graphical front-end). Special emphasis isrnput on the model documentation with a proposal of a Standard Model Documentation whichrnwould combine the advantages of the existing "Proforma" and Neutral Model Format. Thernapplication of the ISE concepty to existing simulation codes is then illustrated.
