摘要

Nuritkum Square, which consists of two mid-rise and two low-rise buildings, is being constructed in DMC district, Seoul, Korea. A bridge named IT capsule connects the mid-rise buildings, Biz and R&D centers. Friction pendulum bearings are installed at supports of the IT capsule in order to prevent stress concentration from not occurring under wind or seismic load. The entire design process of the bearing is introduced in this paper. For the design of the bearings, tune history analyses were conducted for both wind and seismic loads. The wind load was obtained from wind tunnel test, and the seismic loads were obtained by generating artificial motions and scaling previous earthquake ground motion.
