Gutianxi thrid-stage dam is a flat slab butterss that has operated f9or htiry-five years. The rules of the horizontal displacement of the dam caused by temperature and water level are very different from general dams. In this artice, By using space-time modeo, statistical model and mixture model, and the observational data of horizontal displacement is anlayzed deeply. Combination with the analysis results, the physical cause of special rules is basically made clearly. A general method to assess the deformation properties of a flat slab buttress dam is also raised in this article at the same time.
