This research investigates blog usage pattern of collegernstudents and gender difference. The 25 statementsrndeveloped for this study were used to measure students?rnblog usage, gender difference, attitude, and satisfactionrntoward using blog. The 25 statements are categorized intornfour areas: information sharing, social communication,rnmanagement, and negative effect. The findings indicate thatrnthe students primarily share and disseminate informationrnwith blog. Contacting with classmates and providing detailsrnon personal life also seem to be important to students.rnFemale students consider security issue more importantlyrnthan male students. Male students show more positivernattitude than female students toward using blog. However,rnthere is no significant difference between male and femalernstudents in satisfaction toward using blog. The authorsrnsuggest blog will have to become more satisfying studentsrnby way of more targeted communicative content or by morerninteresting value.
