Chemical constituents from the leaves of Microtropis japonica

From a 1-BuOH-soluble fraction of the MeOH extract of the leaves of Microtropis japonica, collected in the Okinawa islands, one new enMabdane type diterpene, six new acylated glucosides, and one kaempferol glycoside were isolated with a known compound. Their structures were elucidated by a combination of spectroscopic analyses. In addition, the absolute structure of one ent-labdane type diterpene glucoside was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis.
