In this paper, a pressure tracking control of constant pressure regulating pump is considered. To account for nonlinearities and uncertainties of the constant pressure pump regulating system, an expert intelligent synchronous control scheme based on fuzzy neural network (FNN) is proposed. It is applied in the tracking control of the electrohydraulic proportional constant pressure regulating axial piston pump regarded as an object of study. A series of experimental results shows that the proposed expert intelligent synchronous control is valid for the tracking controller and superior to the conventional PID controller.
