Dendrimers are highly branched globular macromolecules that ideally contain onernbranch juncture in each repeat unit. Their high end-group functionality andrnstructural regularity make them attractive precursors in nanoscopic materialrnscience and engineering applications; however, many of these applications willrnsignificantly depend on dendrimers thermal degradation and stability. In thisrnstudy, thermal and thermo-oxidative behavior of neat polyamidoamine (PAMAM)rndendrimers from Dendritech, Inc., Midland, Michigan, and their selectedrnderivatives were characterized using DSC, TGA, and TGA-MS techniques.
