Heterogeneous dielectrics in connected array analysis with CBFM

We describe the development of techniques for use in efficient analysis of array antennas containing both highly conducting and inhomogeneous or anisotropic dielectric parts. The techniques have application to extending the Characteristic Basis Function Method (CBFM) to apply to a class of connected patch array antennas that may include various construction materials.
