摘要

Objective: To investigate the changes of e swimming athletes body composition and strength quality in strength training period. Methods: Six Swimming Athletes of Chinese nation swimming team, including 4 males and 2 females. The subjects participated in a supervised 4-week period of strength training. Before and after the period, isokinetic strength and body composition were examined. Results; 1.The results show that after strength training period, both the male and female athletes' body mass increased, which caused by the increase of muscle. 2.Whether the male or female athletes peak torque (FT) and peak torque to body mass ratio (PT/BM) of knee joint increased. Conclusion: As the muscle strength increased going with muscle mass, the results suggest that the increasing of muscle strength will go with changes of muscles shape that may be not change obviously in strength training period.
