摘要

Graft modification of collagen in aqueous solution of sodium thiocyanate (NaSCN) is developed in this paper and this modification can largely change it's solubility in water, thus make it can be used in fiber production. Grafting modified collagen is characterized by infrared spectrum. Spinning performances of spinning solution with several ratios of modified collagen to polyacrylonitrile are checked. The test about breaking strength of collagen/polyacrylonitrile composite fiber shows it has better breaking strength than PAN fiber while ratio of collagen is below 15%. Micro-appearance observed under scanning electron microscope (SEM) presents the surface with longitudinal groove which is typical character of wet spinning and depth of groove increases with the increase of draw ratio.
