摘要

A special fluidized bed heat exchanger operated close to the local minimum fluidization conditions is developed by the authors.The governing characteristics in designing such a heat exchanger are introduced.For the development process the computational particle fluid dynamics package Barracuda is applied.Cold laboratory scale models and experiments for investigating crucial effects are presented.These experiments are compared to conducted Barracuda simulations.
