Current sensorless SEPIC PFC stage for HID lamps ballast with lamp control performances

摘要

A Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) power factor corrector (PFC) stage without currentrnsensor is presented as front-end stage for lamp electronic ballasts. The digital control of the PFCrnstage estimates the input current with the digital values of the input and output voltage, without the usernof an input current sensor. Dimming control and rejection of low frequency utility voltage fluctuationsrnare included in the PFC stage digital control.
