In this paper, solutions of flow field around moving complicated-shaped body using a new unstructured moving patched grid method for unsteady compressible flows are presented in a parallel environment. From a point of view of grid generation, an overset grid generation method is suitable for a flow around moving complicated-shaped body. However it is difficult for the overset grid method to interpolate the value with satisfying physical conservation law between main-grid and sub-grid. To assure the conservation law on the region, a new patched-grid finite-volume method, which sub-grid and main-grid are joined by unstructured grid, is proposed. The feature of the method is that a control volume on which a space-time unified domain is adopted, and the method assures the geometric conservation law too even if sub-grid moves. The method is applied to a problem such that complicated-shaped body flies in supersonic flow, and computed using parallel machines.
