摘要

Abstract: In this paper, the application of laser specklephotography in study of convective heat transfer ispresented in detail. Six kinds of experimental systemof laser speckle photography and two methods ofreconstruction of specklegram are proposed. Themeasurement principles and the formulas of experimentaldata processing for determination of 2D andaxisymmetric temperature fields by using laser specklephotography are described. For illustration, the laserspeckle photography has been used to study heattransfer of natural convection thermal boundary layerin a heated isothermal vertical flat plate and thatbetween two heated vertical plates. The naturalconvection cooling of a heated vertical strip has alsobeen studied by laser speckle photography.!8
