摘要

Lithium primary cells using a poly(carbon mono-fluoride), (CF)_n, cathode, have peculiarities; the cell voltage drops drastically at high current discharge, and the recovery of dropped voltage requires many hours. Therefore, the next discharge step starts before the cell voltage returns the normal state, which results in successive drop in the cell voltage. The concept of discharge supporting additives was proposed to solve this problem and demonstrated by the pulse discharge tests of Li/(CF)_n coin type cells employing the quinone compounds.
