Magnesium phosphate cement can be used to create a lightweight, versatile compositernwood building material. Various types of wood residuals and waste wood fromrnrestoration forestry projects were chemically bonded to form test specimens. Physicalrnproperty testing, primarily compressive load and deformation, resulted in the selection ofrnan optimum wood material. In addition, definitive relationships between the amount ofrnbinder and compressive strength and the amount of forming compression andrncompressive strength were developed.
