1. Different heat pipe devices (cylindrical copper pipes with metal sintered powder as a wick, flat aluminium heat pipe panels, stainless steel loop heat pipes with capillary pumped evaporators, vapour-dynamic thermosyphons and others) were integrated in different sorption machines and tested to verify its heat transfer efficiency. 2. Choosing of appropriate type of heat pipes is complex problem, which depends on working conditions and limitations, temperature range, source of energy, necessity of recovery, cost etc. 3. Sorption machines with heat pipes as heat exchangers have some advantages such as short time cycle, improved compactness of cascading machines (less intermediate elements), increased COP due to inter-cascaded heat recovery and can be used combined with various sources of energy. 4. A new type of the electronic components cooling system (LHP + SSC) based on a loop heat pipe (LHP) and solid sorption cooler (SSC) is proposed, tested and analyzed. This cooler ensures the heat transfer enhancement in LHP evaporator 5-6 times to compare with conventional LHP evaporator.
