SOLUBLE AND WATER-SWELLABLE POLYAMINOACIDIC CONSTRUCTS FOR DRUG DELIVERY

摘要

The systematic study performed by our research group demonstrates that α,β-poly(N-2-hydroxyethyl)-DL-aspartamide (PHEA) and α,β-polyaspartylhydrazide (PAHy), are excellent candidate for the design of novel DDS. Their easy and at low cost preparation together with their biocompatibility and chemical reactivity confer to these polymers peculiar properties that make them very interesting as starting material to prepare innovative pharmaceutical devices.
