Lithium complex thickened greases have historically been the thickener of choice for high performance, high viscosity, synthetic base fluid, industrial greases. With the careful selection of base fluids and performance additives; aluminum complex thickened greases can be manufactured that will provide equivalent and frequently superior performance to lithium complex thickened greases with high viscosity, synthetic base fluids. The results show that Synthetic Aluminum Complex industrial greases can have not only excellent high temperature characteristics, but will also have excellent low temperature performance, superior rust prevention, and excellent extreme pressure and anti-wear results.
