Chloride ions are very harmful for reinforced concrete. These ions diffuse through the body of concrete, reach the reinforcement and deteriorate the structure. It is well known that the addition of fly ash in concrete reduces the diffusion of chloride ions in its body and it may reduce the chances of deterioration of concrete. In this paper, the performance of fly ash concrete have been discussed which is exposed in different chloride solutions of salt concentrations of 19, 38, 76,and 152 g/lit up to 540 days.
