摘要

In this work the production of constant composition copolymer in the Pulsed Sieve Plate Column (PSPC) is investigated. The effect of distributing the monomer feed along the reactor length is computed based on a detailed dynamic axial dispersion model of emulsion copolymer-ization reactions performed in this type of continuous tubular reactor. Results show that using lateral monomer feed streams allow to produce homogeneous vinyl acetate/butyl acrylate copolymers in this type of reactor.
