The interleaved DC-DC converter reduces the requirement of ripple filter, the conduction losses, and size due to deliberate phase-shifted in switching signals in each period. In this paper interleaved DC-DC Converters are employed for extracting power from PV modules. The control algorithms namely Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (InC) methods are implemented using SimPower System toolbox of MATLAB and DSP controller (dSPACE1104). The performances of these DC-DC converters are experimentally evaluated and comparative studies are carried out under various loading conditions.
