Analysis of Nursing Willingness and Hospice Care Needs of the Elderly in Urban Communities Based on Genetic Algorithm

With the development of social economy, the age structure of China’s population has changed dramatically, which is mainly manifested in the increasing trend of aging. Therefore, it is the focus of aging work to further improve and promote the community service system for the elderly and provide security for the elderly at home, and community nursing service for the elderly is the foundation of the community service system for the elderly. In this paper, genetic algorithm is used to search the nursing wishes and hospice care needs of the elderly in urban communities, and a preliminary nursing wishes and hospice care needs are obtained. Finally, variable neighborhood search is used to optimize hospice care needs. Most employees have a correct understanding of hospice care and support hospice care, but their willingness to engage in hospice care needs to be strengthened. We should strengthen policy support and financial input to hospice care, actively and correctly guide employees, and make medical staff have a scientific understanding of hospice care.
