Smart Battery Integration In Military Applications: Using your smart battery to enhance the features and benefits of your portable electronic device

Smart battery technology has been in commercial use for many years, and yet device designers still fail to make full use of the features that the battery provides. Implementing this C.O.T.S. technology into military applications gives an opportunity to benefit from many hundreds of commercial implementations upon which to base your designs. This presentation uses real-world examples of how portable electronic military devices can be improved & how the user can be given greater benefits by fully deploying smart battery technology The presentation will not discuss any technology which requires invention, all of this technology exists today and although it can be deployed immediately, many of the benefits of the technology are being underutilized. The objective of this presentation therefore is to demonstrate those features that today are being left unused in many applications, and how the careful application of this established commercial technology may be applied to improve portable electronic military devices in mission-critical applications.
