Collaboration Agent for Vijjana: A Pragmatic Model for Collaborative, Self-organizing, Domain Centric Knowledge Networks

摘要

This paper illustrates how collaborative technologies can lead to forming social networking on any useful domain-specific subjects. This has been done using an interactive knowledge networking framework, Vijjana. Vijjana allows different users / groups to build their own knowledge scenario - discuss, delete, add or append pertinent knowledge, all collectively. A text based "discussion module" is designed to incorporate this feature. The module shows to any user the list of all the users logged-in to the Vijjana Client Interface. A user can choose to discuss any issue with other users through a common discussion board or the user can choose to have a private, one to-one discussion with another user of choice from the listed online users. Also, there exists a provision for exchanging emails among the online user members of Vijjana.
