Modified Granular Index Scheme for XML Database

摘要

This paper discusses the data base representation technique to make data access and searching easier. Compared to relational database and object oriented data; the XML database has relatively larger index size due to data elements and actual data. The solution proposed to this problem is modified granular index. Modified granular indexing helps for faster storage and retrieval of data to and from cache.
