There is a lot of situation during manufacturing of solid energetic materials where flammable dusts containing explosives and/or materials categorised as explosives are produced. This brings a problem with potential development of dispersion of dust containing those materials. Dust dispersion of two delaying compositions were tested in 201 chamber. Maximum explosion pressure and maximum rate of pressure rise were measured. It was proved by tests that dust dispersion of multi-component composition behaves in a different way comparing to bulk of that composition. Safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres, and flammable dust dispersions are categorized as explosible atmosphere, is regulated by a Directive 1999/92/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 1999 on minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres. Unfortunately, this Directive shall not apply to "the manufacture, handling, use, storage and transport of explosives or chemically unstable substances". Explosives authorities.
