Modern industrial enterprise has many different computer models used to automate production processes and information processing. Effective and efficient use of computer hardware is inextricably linked with the schedule of operations and their specific features. The article discusses the well-known approaches and methods of information technology service lifecycle management. Still, in many cases, they aim only to reduce equipment and operating costs. This paper proposes an optimization-simulation procedure, which consists of the sequential solution of the computer's optimal distribution problem and process simulation when performing production activities. A simulation model has been developed based on timed colored Petri nets. The model consists of components that simulate extracting computers for maintenance and repair and a random process of failures. An example of the Petri net fragments for the operation of design development of a product before release into production is considered. The conflict occurrence conditions are determined; the completion time shift factor is calculated. The proposed method for constructing a simulation model can be applied to optimize using the enterprise's computer equipment.
