摘要

In order to improve the quality of welding seams and realize welding automation, a on-line detection method for welding grooves of ultra-thick plates is proposed in this paper. The adaptive algorithm is used to process the pictures in the on-line welding process of the collected welds to obtain an accurate weld bevel profile, which is convenient for subsequent planning of the welding gun movement path. Aiming at the problem of complicated interference information of weld bevel pictures, this paper adopts an adaptive judgment algorithm. Compared with the common morphological algorithm, the accuracy is about twice as high, and the interference information can be effectively removed to obtain a complete weld groove contour.
