Failure to operate a company's information system can have disastrous consequences, from theft of insider information to the loss of a customer base. As information technology evolves, attackers also evolve, coming up with increasingly sophisticated attack methods. One of the most common attacks according to statistics is considered a remote network attack. There are various network attacks, but the most dangerous and widespread is the Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS attack). The article describes and analyzes various approaches to combating cybercriminals.
