Research on the Effects of Place Selection to Chinese Enterprise's Growing up Internationally

There exists much literature discussing the importance of place selection to an enterprise's international growth. However, there is little research measuring the effects. This paper follows the guide of Michael Porter's theory about "the competitiveness of place mainly roots in the essence of business environment", and divides the contribution of the place selection in multinational investment on the enterprise's growing up internationally of into increasing the capacity of getting profit and adding competitiveness, then develops the theory model of competitiveness on place selection in the enterprise investing multination. In addition, according to the statistical analysis on the data of the Chinese enterprise growing up, as the result, discovered that enterprise pay more attention on the ability of making profit at the beginning of the enterprise's grow up internationally, and it plays a very important role at the beginning of the enterprise's grow up internationally, the enterprises which have the advantage of resources and competences emphasize the competitiveness of place selection.
