An experimental study has been performed on the flame morphology of free jets formed in stagnant air, in which mixture of the waste liquid and waste oil is injected in the horizontal direction. Emphasis is placed on the temperature measurement in the flame and the mixing characteristics of the waste liquid and waste oil. It is found from the study that (i) when the waste liquid is injected with the waste oil, its mixture is ignited, resulting the morphology of the combustion flame, (ii) when the waster liquid and the waste oil is homogeneously mixed, the injected small drop is ignited, and (Hi) the mixing performance plays an important role in the steady state combustion and flame temperature.
